Malan David Hudson, the visionary Founder and CEO of Adullam Alabama, has a story that resonates with resilience, compassion, and dedication. David grew up an avid reader who always had an interest in Political Science, Sustainable Living and Economics, he graduated from high school in 1999 and soon embarked on a journey with the US Air Force.
After leaving the Air Force, David dealt with PTSD as well as a long and excruciating custody battle. As a single father, he faced the challenges of homelessness for a period and found out first hand the difference private charities can make when individuals fall through the cracks. Working 3 jobs at once to regain stability for himself and his son, he dove into a career in sales, marketing, and management.
In 2014 David retired to his family's 140-acre property in Cherokee County, Alabama, a property rich with history, having been in the family for six generations since before the Civil War. His personal experiences have fueled his aspiration to use his land for a meaningful and lasting purpose and help other.
In 2024 David's path crossed with Tammy Domenick, a passionate advocate for the homeless who was working on establishing a non-profit initiative for the homeless in North Carolina. Their shared ideology and vision led to a collaboration of ideas and the creation of Adullam Alabama. Together, they are building a sanctuary that embodies hope and restoration, offering support and resources to those experiencing homelessness and poverty in the community. David's journey from personal hardship to founding Adullam Alabama is a testament to his unwavering commitment to making a difference in the world.
